CUTC takes a hoon on the goon
On August 2nd, the University of Canterbury Tramping Club (CUTC) brought a little flair to the outdoors at their annual "Bush Ball" held at the Woolshed Creek Hut under Mt Sommers. Picture this: a hike through stunning nature, arriving at a hut for a ball where the only thing more enchanting than the setting was the ease at which they carried in their natural and refreshing honey mead for enhancing the celebrations.
For this special occasion, CUTC had early access to the about to be launched Forest Goon. We’ve had the privilege of partnering with the club, and they’re known for being adventurous yet responsible when it comes to their mead and adventures. They love taking our honey wine—whether by keg or goon—on their tramps because it’s a natural product that fits perfectly with their love for the outdoors.
At the Bush Ball, Forest Goon made a splash as it is Forest Mead -which is fermented from pure honeydew and nothing else. No added sugars, flavours, or chemicals - just what the forest gave us, turned into something earthy, smooth and crisp. Packaged oh so conveniently (and sustainably) for the outdoors.
It’s always a pleasure to see our mead being enjoyed in such a unique way, and we're proud to continue supporting CUTC in their outdoor adventures.
