Summer in a bottle

Our latest seasonal release is now available.

A summery mead, light & crisp, and quite wine-like in its texture. It is lightly sweet, with notes of dried apple, and a touch of dark caramel, and smooth herbal finish.

The honey source is from beekeepers maintaining hives in the natural coastal bush of Marlborough Sounds. Some wildly difficult terrain to get to, including some spots that require boats rather than vehicles on roads.

Due to limited supply of honey this is a single batch edition and we expect it to sell out, like last year.

Available by bottle, case, or as part of a gift collection.

Enjoy summer, everyone!

Marlborough Summer Mead (500ml)
$34.99

A new taste of New Zealand summer.

Lightly sweet like a lazy summer afternoon at the beach.

This mead is made from honey gathered in the natural bush of the Marlborough Sounds, where steep, forested hills fall into sheltered bays. Holiday homes cling to the cliffs above the water, accessible only by boat, and protected from the open sea by the surrounding land.

A seasonal, limited small-batch release, made possible thanks to the work of Marlborough beekeepers.

“Really Nice”
